Summary: Panasonic's Mobility Energy Business is leading the electric vehicle battery industry. As we expand globally and pursue growth, we are establishing a Business Development Center to shape our future, seize opportunities, and build key partnerships across the EV ecosystem.
We seek an entrepreneurial leader to develop this function from scratch and influence our market leadership. This is a unique opportunity to impact transportation's future, working closely with executives to define and execute our strategic plan in this sector.

Education: Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience: 15+ years in strategy/business development in the battery or related industry; 7+ years in leadership roles. Deep knowledge of battery tech, supply chain, and market trends. Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and strategic skills. Experience in building teams and managing cross-disciplinary projects. Financial modeling skills required.
Preferred: Fluency in Japanese; alignment with Panasonic’s core principles.
