Job summary

The US Oncology Network in Hackensack, NJ seeks an experienced Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead all revenue cycle operations for the Hackensack division. This executive will plan, execute, and optimize revenue cycle initiatives in alignment with organizational goals and financial performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health care administration or related field with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience and progressive levels of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong experience in change management and organizational transformation.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio and Outlook) and other collaboration tools (Asana and Smartsheet).
  • Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management roles, the role demands, and the competencies required to support those roles.
  • Strong knowledge of medical insurance processes, billing, and collections with CPT, ICD10, and HCPCS coding and medical terminology, as well as an overall understanding of managed care products (HMO, PPO, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic leadership, coordination, and execution of revenue cycle initiatives and optimization strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational structure, mission, values, culture, workforce, operational processes, and the overall patient experience.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to define revenue cycle management strategies that align with the company's objectives and support business growth.
  • Oversees the management and execution of revenue cycle improvement projects and initiatives within the business by forming a collaborative team and establishing professional working relationships to support revenue cycle management.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
  • Acts as an internal consultant, mentor, and team leader to develop people to solve problems, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for revenue cycle, maintaining an active understanding of current thinking and innovative interventions/programs regarding the patient revenue cycle experience.
  • Reports on progress of project/initiatives, understanding the risks, dependencies, budgets, resourcing, issues, critical milestones and forthcoming outcomes, and actions necessary to ensure success.
  • Provides strategic guidance and support for the effective use of the practice management system and other revenue cycle technologies applied to revenue cycle operational needs.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, promoting knowledge sharing, professional development, and collaboration.
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Other duties as requested or assigned.

RCCA is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead revenue cycle operations for our Hackensack, NJ division. This executive-level leader will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of revenue cycle initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and financial performance. Employment Type: Full Time. Location: Hackensack, NJ. Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite. Compensation: $138,657.06 - $215,000.00 annually. Compensation packages based on your unique skills, experience, and qualifications.   • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
