Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Sr. Director of Revenue Cycle to lead and oversee the development of best practices in the integration and conversion of our Revenue Cycle systems, with a specific focus on transitioning to Epic and Oracle EMRs. This role will be integral in guiding the strategy, design, and implementation of revenue cycle workflows, ensuring operational efficiency, and maximizing revenue opportunities. The Sr. Director will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the organization to drive process optimization, system integration, and continuous improvement across all stages of the revenue cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Integration and Conversions: Oversee the technical and operational aspects of the conversion process from legacy systems to Epic and Oracle EMRs, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to revenue cycle operations.
  • Workflow Optimization: Continuously assess and refine revenue cycle processes and technology to drive operational efficiency, enhance accuracy, and increase revenue capture to support optimal system conversions. Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and minimize bottlenecks.
  • Develop Best Practices: Establish and implement best practices and standardized workflows for all aspects of the revenue cycle, specifically tailored to the conversion, optimization and integration of Epic and Oracle EMRs.
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide high-level strategy and guidance on the selection, design, and configuration of revenue cycle management systems. Lead the development and execution of comprehensive revenue cycle system integration plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, clinical, and Revenue Cycle operations teams, to ensure alignment of revenue cycle practices with broader organizational priorities. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Change Management: Lead and support change management initiatives to ensure effective adoption of new systems and processes, addressing resistance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Compliance and Industry Standards: Ensure that revenue cycle operations adhere to all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices, particularly as they relate to Epic and Oracle EMR environments.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

Additional Preferences

  • Strong expertise in Revenue Cycle Architecture, particularly in transitioning to and optimizing Epic and Oracle EMR systems.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage large, complex initiatives and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
