Description: This director-level role is focused on our insurance software business and is a people manager position. The successful candidate must have significant knowledge and experience in the insurance industry and possesses excellent oral and written communication.

Responsible for leading external solution strategy and communicating portfolio capabilities of the insurance business, ensuring alignment of business priorities and objectives. A key part of this role will be building and leading a team of subject matter experts in the insurance field who develop and communicate DXC’s product vision to the customer community, industry analysts, and internal stakeholders. The team will be responsible for developing GTM strategy, new product launches, and content initiatives.

The candidate should thrive on stage and enjoy presenting in various settings.

Essential Job Functions

  • Analyzes market and product positioning including win/loss and competitive analysis
  • Defines our insurance portfolio’s product positioning and evangelizes our solutions
  • Launches successful product campaigns
  • Develops scorecard and monthly review of metrics and achieves monthly targets
  • Conducts customer community events and presentations
  • Articulates and communicates the product vision to analyst, customer and employee communities
  • Maintains awareness of market trends and competitors.
  • Ensures DXC Insurance Software & BPS attains and retains leadership in completeness of vision and ability to execute.
  • Interfaces with customers and sales organization to drive product direction and ensure capabilities meet market and customer needs.
  • Collaborates and works closely with ISB Leadership, Regional Management, Sales, Customers, Product Owners, Delivery, and Corporate Marketing.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Typically, 8+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role
  • Proven experience in Marketing Communications
  • Proven experience in SaaS and modern software platforms
  • Proven experience in Insurance
  • Proficiencies in strategic communication planning and project management
  • Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other qualifications

  • Strong executive presence with proven ability to establish trusted relationships at the C-Suite level
  • Ability to think strategically and drive execution across multiple communication channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to lead cross-functional colleagues and manage a global team
  • An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
