Qualifications

Responsibilities

SUMMARY

Lead packaging team to ensure timely and cost-effective packaging development, presentation, and production while meeting the brand's aesthetic and customer's requirement and quality.

Lead packaging team to ensure timely and cost-effective packaging development, presentation, and production while meeting the brand's aesthetic and customer's requirement and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
  • Provide direction and training to the packaging team.
  • Packaging development from construction and graphic concepts to mockup presentations. Ensure the development and qualification of packaging solutions met for the needs for brand aesthetics, consumer use, manufacturing capability, and quality.
  • Create packaging spec and work with oversea factories and agents for packaging cost.
  • Work with oversea factories and agents to ensure high quality and on-time packaging delivery with processes including: prototype development, press proof, and final packaging TOP sample approvals. Manage flow of information, follow up and communicate project milestones to ensure on time packaging delivery.
  • Work with both brand and customer to meet their packaging expectation.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with third party packaging vendors.
  • Work with photo studio and customer to execute photography for. packaging.
  • Take the lead on environmental friendly packaging development.
  • Lead the critique within the team for new packaging graphic concepts.
  • Work with the third party translator for packaging translation.
  • Work with local packaging suppliers for mockup and presentation projects.
  • Organize and archive samples, artworks, mechanicals, specs, invoices, and etc.
  • Proof reading packaging mechanicals before release.
  • Create packaging design artwork, photoshop or photo shoot packaging photography.
  • Take the lead on all packaging functions in PLM system.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong creative skills
  • Team player and communicates effectively with all levels of management
  • Detail oriented and multi-tasker, comfortable working in fast paced environment
  • Project managing including organizing and prioritizing resources and timeline management
  • Knowledge of textile industry is a plus
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in packaging design, marketing, project management or business related discipline.
  • 5+ years of packaging graphic design and production experience
Salary Description

$150,000 - $170,000 Annually
