Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Director of Business Intelligence with exceptional customer-facing skills and expertise in SQL. The ideal candidate will lead our business intelligence efforts, leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and enhance customer experience. This role will require a strong blend of technical proficiency, leadership abilities, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's business intelligence strategy, aligning with overall business objectives.
• Lead a team of BI analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive performance and professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop data-driven solutions.
• Design and implement scalable data models and architectures to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
• Drive the development of customer-facing BI solutions, dashboards, and reports to deliver insights and value to internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize advanced analytics techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive business growth and efficiency.
• Act as a subject matter expert on BI tools, technologies, and best practices, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and delivering customized BI solutions to meet their requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience (5 years) in a leadership role within business intelligence, analytics, or data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (Python would be a plus), with the ability to write complex queries and develop custom analytics solutions.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, including dashboard design and report development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
