Position Summary

As our Sr Director MCH at California Hospital, you will be responsible for Maternal Child Health services including antepartum, triage, labor & delivery (including birth suites and OR), postpartum care, NICU, Peds, and our Outpatient Women's Services Center.

Responsibilities

You will direct the operations of our perinatal services, collaborate with Sr. Leadership on strategy and key initiatives, and work with the L&D Director, NICU Manager, and other front-line leaders to ensure high standards of patient care in a fast-paced environment. We deliver nearly 3,000 babies annually and admit over 500 to our 26-bed Level III NICU.

With the recent opening of our new Patient Tower, this is an exciting time to join us! The tower modernizes our maternity services, offering a spacious, family-centered environment that combines leading-edge medicine with compassionate care, providing the best start in life for our youngest patients.

The new facility includes 28 private postpartum rooms, private NICU rooms, state-of-the-art surgical suites, a pregnancy care center with triage and birthing rooms, a water birthing suite, a children’s play area, and private consultation spaces.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent, plus a Master’s degree in Nursing or related field (MSN, MBA, MHA).
• At least 5 years of nursing experience.
• Minimum 3 years of nurse leadership experience.

Licensure

• Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required.
