Job summary

Eli Lilly is building a major manufacturing site in Concord, NC. The Sr. Director, HSE, Manufacturing will own health, safety, and environmental programs across the plant and sit on the Site Lead Team.

The role reports to the Concord Plant Site Head, connects the site to Lilly's corporate HSE organization, and runs the systems behind regulatory inspections. A bachelor’s degree and 10–15 years leading HSE teams in manufacturing with environmental compliance and regulator experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 10–15 years of HSE leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE programs across manufacturing, utilities, waste, labs, and emergency response.
• Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across the site.
• Coordinate with corporate HSE and prepare for regulatory inspections.
• Report to the Concord Plant Site Head and participate in Site Lead Team.
