OpenLoop is seeking a Senior Director of HR for our pharmacy business to lead HR across multiple sites, reporting to the Chief People Officer. You will own HR for the pharmacy network and partner with People teams as the organization grows.

You will build and lead a field-based HR team, ensure compliant practices across multi-state sites, and drive a scalable, data-informed people strategy that supports rapid growth while maintaining strong employee relations.

• Design scalable, compliant HR solutions for a multi-state workforce.
• Use data and insights to frame decisions, flag risks, and advise leadership.
• Set standards for employee relations and investigations across pharmacies.
• Balance short-term needs with long-term priorities as the organization scales.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Senior Director of HR for our pharmacies, you'll be the senior HR leader for our pharmacy business. Reporting directly into our Chief People Officer, you will own HR for our Pharmacy network, while ensuring alignment and consistency with People teams across OpenLoop. This role will build and shape the HR team as it goes through significant growth and scale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead HR for the pharmacy business end to end, owning ways of working across the pharmacies, people planning, and business partner support for every site.
• Set the multi-year people strategy for the pharmacies, defining the organization, capabilities, and HR model the business will need as it scales.
• Partner closely with pharmacy operations leadership to shape the pharmacy organization for scale, strengthening leadership capability, communication, and prioritization.
• Build and lead a team of site-based HR business partners and generalists, setting clear standards and developing them into trusted advisors to site leaders.
• Lead the people side of bringing new sites and teams onto OpenLoop's programs, policies, and ways of working as we grow.
• Work as the connective tissue between the pharmacies and OpenLoop's centralized People teams, including Talent Acquisition, People Operations, and Total Rewards, deciding when to solve locally and when to lean on central resources.
• Serve on the People leadership team, shaping OpenLoop-wide practices for our site-based, hourly workforce and influencing enterprise decisions as the pharmacy business grows.
• Design solutions that are flexible for a fast-moving business while staying compliant and legally sound across a multi-state, multi-site workforce.
• Use people data and insights to frame decisions, flag risks, and make clear recommendations to pharmacy and People leadership.
• Set the standards and approach for employee relations and investigations across the pharmacies, building consistent, scalable practices so issues are handled fairly, early, and in line with the law.
• Make high-impact trade-offs between immediate needs and long-term priorities, while building the processes the pharmacies will need at a much larger scale.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Senior HR leadership leading HR managers or teams, across a multi-site, operational workforce with a large hourly population.
• Experience building and leading a team of HR business partners or generalists across multiple sites.
• Strong employee relations and business partnering depth, including coaching leaders through performance and change, with ER as one tool in a broad HR toolkit rather than the default answer.
• A track record of leading organizational change alongside an operating executive, including building a leadership bench.
• Deep command of multi-state employment law, applied pragmatically.
• A builder's judgment: you know when to create a new process and when to adopt one that already works.
• Direct and data-driven with senior operators, comfortable pushing back, and calm under pressure in a heavily regulated, fast-growing environment.

PREFERRED

• HR leadership across multiple pharmacies or large-scale pharmacy operations.
• HR leadership in a health system or hospital environment with a large hourly workforce.
• Experience in fulfillment center, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
• Labor relations experience.
• Experience in a high-growth company where the HR function was still being built.
