Job description

Job Summary

Preferred locations are San Jose or Seattle

As the Senior Director of Cloud Revenue Operations, you will lead NetApp's cloud revenue transformation of strategy and execution across the entire customer lifecycle. You will serve as the operational architect for our cloud business, driving the shift from traditional product-based motions to recurring consumption and usage-based revenue models.

This executive leader will be responsible for modernizing and scaling the people, processes, data, systems, and analytics that power our cloud business. You will partner closely with sales, customer success, finance, product, engineering, IT, and executive leadership teams to establish a best-in-class cloud operating framework that accelerates growth, improves customer adoption, and maximizes lifetime value.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in cloud go-to-market motions, IAAS, SaaS and consumption-based business models, revenue operations transformation, and large-scale systems modernization. You are equally comfortable establishing executive strategy, redesigning business processes, and driving hands-on execution across complex, global organizations.

  • Evaluate current revenue operations infrastructure and develop a multi-year transformation roadmap to simplify workflows, improve automation, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Establish and govern cloud business processes spanning customer acquisition, onboarding, adoption, renewal, expansion, and retention.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure accurate measurement and forecasting of ARR, consumption revenue, customer health, renewals, retention, and expansion metrics.
  • Create executive-level reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide visibility into cloud business performance, adoption trends, pipeline health, and revenue outcomes.
  • Lead the design and implementation of usage and consumption analytics to drive customer adoption, revenue growth, and proactive risk management.
  • Develop data governance standards that improve data quality, consistency, and trust across customer, product, revenue, and usage data.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to operationalize product telemetry and customer usage insights into GTM workflows and decision-making.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on cloud business processes, operating policies, metrics, and accountability models.
  • Lead a global team of revenue operations professionals, providing strategic direction, coaching, organizational development, and execution excellence in support of building a high achievement culture.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on cloud growth strategy, operational performance, and transformation priorities.
