Job description

We're a Phoenix-based advertising agency that does one thing better than anyone: we match brands with the radio and podcast hosts their customers actually trust. Our stable includes 60 of the biggest names in talk radio and podcasting, and our clients range from fast-growing tech companies to household mass-market brands. When a host tells millions of listeners "I use this myself," that's us behind the curtain making it happen.

This isn't a giant agency where you'll be a cog. It's a small, senior team where your work shows up on national airwaves every single week. And we're growing fast. The kind of fast where the clients we're signing this year could triple the business.

What you'll do

You'll own our client relationships AND the media operations behind them. Full stop. When a client thinks of the agency, they'll think of you. And when a campaign needs to get bought right, run right, and billed right, that's you too.

On the client side:
  • Be the client's champion. Serve as the day-to-day strategic lead for our national advertisers, from established tech clients to the new agency-of-record accounts we're bringing on. You run the relationship, the meetings, and the roadmap.
  • Turn data into decisions. Take promo codes, vanity URLs, and response data and tell the client exactly what's working, what isn't, and where their next dollar should go. Clients don't renew because a campaign ran. They renew because you proved it paid.
  • Own renewals and growth. Spot the upsell before the client does. More shows, more hosts, more markets, bigger flights. When a campaign performs, you're the one who turns one win into the next three.
  • Run the quarterly business reviews. Walk into the room (or the Zoom) with a clear ROI story, a point of view, and a plan. No 40-slide decks that say nothing.
On the operations side:
  • Negotiate media buys. Work directly with networks, syndicators, and podcast producers to secure host-read endorsement inventory at rates that make our clients smile.
  • Be our voice to the networks. Build and maintain day-to-day relationships with network reps, show producers, and host teams.
  • Distribute scripts and talking points. Get the right copy to the right host at the right time, every time. Track approvals, revisions, and air dates so nothing slips.
  • Own the paperwork. Manage insertion orders, reconcile invoices, process make-goods and credits, and keep billing clean between clients, networks, and hosts.

The magic of holding both jobs: nothing gets lost in a handoff. What you promise the client is exactly what airs, because you're the one who bought it.

What you bring
  • 7+ years in client services, account management, or media buying at an agency or media company (host-read audio, radio, or podcast experience moves you to the front of the line)
  • A track record of keeping and growing national accounts. Renewals, upsells, saved relationships. Bring receipts.
  • A negotiator's backbone and an accountant's eye for detail. You can push back on a rate card in the morning and reconcile an invoice to the penny in the afternoon.
  • ROI fluency. You're as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are in a boardroom, and you can explain cost-per-acquisition to a CMO without putting them to sleep.
  • Executive presence and a straight‑shooter communication style. You'll be on the phone with national networks and national advertisers, sometimes in the same hour.
  • Self‑starter energy. We move fast and don't micromanage.
Why you'll love it

You'll sit at the leadership table of an agency that's scaling, not coasting. You'll touch every part of the business, from the pitch to the buy to the renewal, and your campaigns will air on shows heard by millions. Great work gets noticed here, because there's nowhere for it to hide.

We take great pride in our diverse and talented workforce. We recognize that our continued success depends largely on the collective strengths of our employees. Developing the right mix of skills, ideas and individuals requires an unwavering commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity and Affdative Action.
