Senior Director, Business Transformation

The Senior Director, Business Transformation plays a critical role in executing high priority key strategic transformation initiatives, optimizing operations, and ensuring alignment with business goals. This involves leading cross‑functional teams in a matrix environment, managing complex aspects of transformational programs, and providing data‑driven insights to senior leadership. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and leadership skills to address high‑priority business challenges and drive change. Act as a strategic advisor and a transformational leader, ensuring transformation objectives are achieved while maintaining alignment with the broader organizational vision.

Key Responsibilities And Duties
  • Drive internal collaboration across critical transformation routines by developing structured agendas, convening business and technology partners, and ensuring key decisions and takeaways are captured and actioned. Build influential relationships across organizational boundaries to advance transformation objectives.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks that provide clear oversight of the transformation program, including decision rights, escalation pathways, and accountability structures. Ensure that governance mechanisms evolve appropriately as the transformation matures and complexity increases.
  • Enforce structure and discipline in transformation execution by instituting standardized program management practices, consistent reporting cadences, and clear milestone accountability across all workstreams. Manage the work of external providers and 3rd party resources supporting critical path efforts, ensuring delivery quality and alignment to overall program objectives.
  • Oversee adherence of transformation activities to contractual provisions, including obligations, commitments, and performance standards embedded in vendor and partner agreements. Serve as the accountable owner for ensuring that contractual milestones are tracked, obligations are fulfilled on time, and any deviations are identified early and escalated appropriately.
  • Manage vendor and service provider relationships with a focus on performance, accountability, and alignment to transformation goals. Ensure that external partners operate within the boundaries of their contractual commitments and that relationship governance supports program outcomes.
  • Provide deep subject matter expertise in transformation strategy, program governance, and operational execution. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on business planning, organizational effectiveness, and the continuous improvement of transformation delivery.
  • Facilitate enterprise‑wide alignment by bridging internal organizations and cross‑functional stakeholders, fostering transparency, securing buy‑in, and ensuring that the transformation program maintains coherence and momentum across all lines of business, technology partners, and shared services.
