Overview

FTI is in search of a Sr. Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities

The Desktop Support Technician will manage accounts, network rights, file permissions, access to systems and equipment. The technician will also maintain system images, configuration and backups as well as perform basic network connectivity troubleshooting.

Qualifications
  • Fifteen (15) years of experience with desktop Operating Systems, hardware and peripherals.
  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan or schedule the installation and deployment of new hardware, operating systems and applications software.
  • Information Assurance Technicians (IAT) Level 2 certification.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
