Job summary

Intellectt INC is seeking a Senior Design Engineer with hands-on CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE for mechanical product design and NPD, focusing on Generative Shape Design, GD&T, and complex surface/solid modeling.

You will develop 3D CAD models, validate assemblies, produce production drawings, manage ECR/ECO/ECN, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure PLM compliant designs.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant mechanical design experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Experience with CATIA GSD / Generative Shape Design.
• Strong 3D surface and solid modeling skills.
• Experience with assembly design and validation.
• Proficiency in production drawings and GD&T.
• Experience managing ECR/ECO/ECN engineering changes.
• Experience supporting New Product Development (NPD).

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 3D CAD models for New Product Development using CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Create and manage complex surface and solid models using Generative Shape Design (GSD) techniques.
• Perform design optimization and engineering changes based on product requirements.
• Build and validate assemblies for fit, function, manufacturability, and performance.
• Create detailed production drawings with GD&T annotations and engineering documentation.
• Manage Engineering Change Requests, Orders, and Notices (ECR/ECO/ECN) while maintaining design data integrity.
• Support product development activities throughout the design lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, design standards, and PLM processes.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer with strong hands-on experience in
CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE for mechanical product design and New Product Development (NPD). The ideal candidate will have expertise in
Generative Shape Design (GSD), complex surface and solid modeling, assembly design, GD&T, production drawings, and engineering change management. Experience in marine/boat/yacht, automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, or other mechanical product design environments is highly valued.
