Job summary

Aegis Manufacturing & Engineering in Michigan seeks an experienced mechanical design engineer to develop 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using CATIA V5. You will translate customer requirements into production-ready designs and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve design issues.

Responsibilities include creating detailed drawings and parts lists, supporting product development from concept through testing and production, and contributing to design reviews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product, mechanical, or automotive design.
• Technical degree, CAD certification, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with CATIA V5 and 3D modeling, surfacing, assemblies, and 2D drafting.
• UG NX experience is a plus and PLM systems like Teamcenter are beneficial.

• * Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams
• * Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems; PLEX experience is a plus
