This role plays a key role in the development and visualization of data and dashboards to identify opportunities and drive process improvements. The individual will play a significant part in identifying process and performance gaps causing misses to critical metrics and KPIs. The role also involves inventory optimization and development of the Service Parts S&OP process.
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in structuring, analyzing, and visualizing large data sets supporting Service Operations. Experience with dbt, Databricks is a plus.
- Experience with machine learning models and AI algorithms to analyze datasets and derive insights.
- Deployment of statistical methods to validate data and results.
- Ability to create dashboards and presentations using data visualizations (HEX Workspace, Google Slides).
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python is required.
- Prior experience with S&OP development and implementation.
- Inventory management experience leading to improved inventory turns.
- Experience with Servigistics, PTC Spare Parts Planning software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Project management skills to handle multiple projects under deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
