Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a Sr Data Product Manager for a hybrid NYC role, focusing on data-driven commercial opportunities in SaaS for financial services.

The candidate will identify and validate new data-enabled business models, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and guide data product strategy from concept through monetization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management or product strategy experience.
• Strong B2B SaaS product experience.
• Strong domain expertise within financial services, fintech, compliance/regtech, financial data/information services, risk, fraud/AML, or related area.
• Data product strategy, data commercialization, and/or data monetization experience.
• Customer discovery, including direct customer interviews and use-case validation.
• Market/competitive assessment and business case development.
• Experience evaluating data or technology assets for new commercial opportunities.
• Strong customer-facing, facilitation, and senior stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• This is not a traditional Agile/backlog-focused Product Manager role.
• We need someone with strong experience identifying and validating new commercial opportunities involving data, SaaS products, and relevant domain expertise.

Location - Hybrid in NYC (28 Liberty St NY, NY 10005)

Duration - 3 Month Renewable Contract

Acceptable VISA: USC or GC

Interview: Virtual round

• 10+ years of relevant Product Management/Product Strategy experience
