Job Summary

The Sr. Enterprise Data Architect is responsible for designing and executing CHOC's enterprise data engineering strategy. This role ensures seamless data exchange across clinical, non-clinical systems, and digital platforms, including mobile apps and CRM. Key responsibilities include developing data pipelines, leveraging standards like APIs, FHIR, HL7, and managing vendor relationships, compliance, and best practices in data architecture. The role also oversees cloud infrastructure management, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.

Pay Range

Minimum $127,442 | Midpoint $168,854 | Maximum $210,267

Rate of pay depends on factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and education.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years in application development, data integration, pipelines, and architecture design.
• Minimum 3 years with healthcare integration technologies like APIs, FHIR, HL7.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, SaaS, hybrid environments, and data migration.
• Experience leading integration during mergers/acquisitions is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Training

• Expertise in APIs, FHIR, HL7, middleware tools, data pipelines, healthcare data standards, cloud technologies, and API management platforms.

Skills

• Proficient in communication, leadership, problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail.
