Job Summary
The Sr. Enterprise Data Architecture is responsible for designing and executing The CHOC enterprise data engineering strategy. This role will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless data exchange for clinical, non-clinical systems, and our digital platforms, including mobile applications and CRM. A primary focus is on developing and optimizing data pipelines that integrate data from various sources into our Enterprise Data Platform and vice versa, supporting analytics, operational needs, and compliance. This role will leverage industry-leading standards like APIs, FHIR, HL7, and other integration and engineering technologies to drive interoperability across systems, enabling improved patient care, operational efficiency, and support for mergers and acquisitions. The position involves managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining best practices in data architecture and pipeline development.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for application development, data engineering, data rationalization, and developing data engineering strategies aligned with CHOC’s mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services. This role will also be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of our cloud infrastructures, ensuring their security, reliability, and scalability. The successful candidate will lead efforts to optimize cloud resource usage, oversee monitoring of the environments, maintain disaster recovery plans, and stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
Pay Range
Minimum $127,442 Midpoint $168,854 Maximum $210,267
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
