Job summary

Anblicks Inc. is seeking a data governance/analyst professional in Dallas to optimize data quality and governance across analytical pipelines. You will leverage SQL to build robust data objects and collaborate with stakeholders to derive actionable insights.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in data analytics/engineering, strong communication skills, and experience with Snowflake and BI tools. Healthcare/financial data exposure and Confluence/Notion documentation are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Advanced SQL experience (CTEs, joins, text parsing) and experience building database objects (tables, stored procedures, views, Snowflake worksheets/notebooks).
• 2+ years in data governance, data steward, data quality, or related role.
• 4+ years as data analyst or data engineer with strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Ability to quickly understand complex data relationships and derive actionable insights.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and communicating progress.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and govern data assets to ensure quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, reports, and dashboards.
• Document governance policies and data lineage in Confluence or Notion.
• Communicate progress and blockers clearly to project teams.

Strong in SQL, SQL stored procedure scripting, amazing communication skills, able to work independently, and the client wants to interview this candidate.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong working experience with healthcare or financial data (e.g., claims, reimbursements)
• Consulting experience, especially within Healthcare industry is a strong plus
• Experience with Snowflake cloud data platforms
• Hands-on experience documenting data governance policies in tools like Atlassian Confluence or Notion.
• 1+ years of experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, or similar tools
• Knowledge of ELT tools (e.g., DBT) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Airflow, Dagster)
