ManpowerGroup is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a hybrid team focused on building a governed Snowflake + Azure data foundation. You will own ingestion, transformation, and serving layers for trusted data products, while ensuring data quality, lineage, and observability across platforms.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Snowflake, Azure data services, and dbt, along with a track record of leadership in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of professional data engineering experience with leadership on enterprise-grade platforms.
• Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, performance tuning, and scalable schema design.
• Hands-on experience with dbt or equivalent transformation frameworks, including testing and CI/CD integration.
• Production experience with Snowflake and Azure data services (ADF, Storage, Key Vault).
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, cataloging, and SOC 2 Type 2 / PII handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade data pipelines on Snowflake and Azure, owning ingestion, transformation, and serving layers for governed data products.
• Architect ingestion patterns across source systems using CDC, batch, and streaming approaches as appropriate.

What's the Job?

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade data pipelines on Snowflake and Azure, owning ingestion, transformation, and serving layers for governed data products.
• Architect ingestion and integration patterns across source systems, applying CDC, batch, and streaming approaches where appropriate.
• Establish transformation frameworks using dbt as the modeling standard, ensuring pipelines are version-controlled, tested, and observable.
• Own pipeline SLAs by defining and tracking freshness, completeness, and error-rate targets, with documented runbooks and production on-call readiness.
• Drive schema governance, data modeling discipline, and data lineage/metadata management so every governed KPI has traceable sources and clear stewardship.

What's Needed?

• 4-7 years of professional data engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership on enterprise-grade data platforms.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex query authoring, performance tuning, and schema design at scale.
• Hands-on experience with dbt (preferred) or equivalent transformation frameworks, including testing, documentation, and CI/CD integration.
• Production experience with Snowflake and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure data services (including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Storage, and Key Vault).
• Working knowledge of data governance, lineage, cataloging, and security/compliance practices in regulated environments (SOC 2 Type 2 and PII handling principles).
