Job summary

Unisys in New York, NY is seeking a senior Data Architect with 10+ years' experience in Data Lake, Data Analytics and Data Strategy to shape the program. You will work with OTDA and OCFS to translate business goals into a robust data roadmap and reference architectures.

You will elicit goals, establish roadmaps, implement data lake/analytics architectures, and manage three IES workstreams. A strong focus on reporting products and cross-team collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and analytics.
• Experience with data lake and analytics reference architectures.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Experience creating data roadmaps and project plans.

Job description

We are looking for a senior Data Architect. The candidate should have 10+ years' experience with Data Lake/Data Analytics/Data Strategy.

Job duties:

• Elicit data related business goals and objectives from OTDA and OCFS.
• Establish a data architecture roadmap for the program.
• Establish and implement a data lake and analytics reference architecture for the program.
• Manage the data implementation plan for the three main IES Workstreams.
• Develop a reporting and analytics product that will be utilized by OTDA and OCFS.
• Create an implementation framework that the 3 workstreams can follow to utilize the data products.

Required experience and skill include:

• Developing data solutions from requirements gathering to post-production operation.
• Development of technology roadmaps and project plans.
• Development of detailed architecture documentation, including architecture models and specifications.
• Implementation mission critical data systems on wither Databricks and/or AWS.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
