Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Temple, TX is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst-Pricing to develop data models for pricing strategy, ensuring accuracy of pricing decisions and applying statistical methods to forecast profitability.

You will create interactive models, develop forward-looking forecasts, and track pricing KPIs while driving value-based pricing over cost-plus approaches. This is a full-time role on the Day shift at North Campus.

Qualifications

JOB TITLE: Sr. Data Analyst-Pricing

LOCATION: Temple, TX

JOB DESCRIPTION: Develop data models that are relevant to the pricing strategy. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all pricing matters, while also applying statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of different pricing strategies on profitability. Create interactive statistical and data-driven models, develop forward-looking financial statements and forecasts, and track and measure pricing key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop reports to track and monitor pricing projects and assess pricing effectiveness. Achieve organizational value during the life of the contract by ensuring all appropriate fees and adjustments are actioned and drive a focus for the organization on value-based (vs. cost plus) pricing models. Prepare cost/pricing proposals and analyze proposal submissions.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in Data Science, or a related field plus 6 months of experience as a Sr. Data Analyst-Pricing or related occupation.
