Senior Data Analyst | Talent Analytics, AI/ML & Data Visualization | Active TS/SCI with CI Poly Required

Are you a skilled Data Analyst with a passion for transforming complex datasets into clear, compelling insights that drive mission-informed talent decisions? We are looking for a technically proficient, client-focused professional ready to deliver advanced analytics, intuitive dashboards, and AI-powered solutions in direct support of a high-profile government program.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will serve as a key analytical resource responsible for extracting, transforming, and visualizing data from diverse sources to address complex talent, language, and learning questions for program leadership. You will build and maintain Tableau dashboards, develop user-friendly reports and briefing decks, and apply advanced analytics — including AI and machine learning — to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable insights. You will work directly with clients to understand their business needs, communicate findings clearly in both written and verbal formats, and ensure that every deliverable is polished, accessible, and decision-ready. This is a role for an analyst who takes equal pride in the quality of their code and the clarity of their storytelling.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications:

• Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (CI Poly) required — candidates without an active clearance will not be considered
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field preferred
• Experience: Demonstrated professional experience in data analysis, analytics engineering, and data visualization in support of complex organizational or mission requirements

Required Technical Skills:

• Data Engineering & ETL: Demonstrated experience using Python and SQL to extract, transform, format, and load data from a variety of sources and systems, including experience working with and maintaining data pipelines
• Data Discovery & Acquisition: Proven ability to identify and obtain the right datasets needed to respond to client requests, including navigating complex or distributed data environments
• Advanced Analytics & AI: Demonstrated experience applying advanced analytical techniques, including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, to address complex questions — particularly those related to talent, language, and learning
• Tableau & Data Visualization: Hands‑on experience creating, enhancing, and maintaining data visualizations, dashboards, and interactive reports using Tableau and Tableau Prep
• Reporting & Briefing Development: Strong ability to develop user‑friendly, executive‑ready reports, graphs, charts, and PowerPoint briefing decks that clearly convey data insights to leadership and non‑technical clients
• Microsoft Excel: Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting in support of analytical workflows
• Client Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to engage directly with clients and cross‑functional team members to understand needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud & Data Lake Environments: Experience working within cloud-based and data lake environments, including data ingestion, storage, and analytics workflows
• AI Model Evaluation & Implementation: Demonstrated experience evaluating, identifying, and implementing AI models to address specific analytical or mission requirements
• Client Consulting: Experience performing basic consulting with clients to clarify business needs, scope analytical requests, and ensure deliverables meet intended outcomes
• Sponsor Data Systems: Familiarity with the Sponsor's data systems as they relate to language, learning, and/or human resources (HR) functions
• Learning Management Systems: Experience working with or analyzing data from learning management systems (LMS)
• JIRA: Working knowledge of JIRA for project tracking, issue management, and team collaboration within agile or iterative development environments
