Collins Aerospace is hiring a Sr. Data Analyst to strengthen secure data enablement across a large data services organization. In this hybrid role in Charlotte, NC, you’ll help streamline work intake, centralize cyber and compliance processes for data services, and translate business and regulatory requirements into dependable, secure data engineering solutions.

What you will do

• Own work intake processes for a large data services organization, coordinating across multiple functional areas (for example finance, engineering, operations) and data skillsets (data engineering, governance, master data management) to maximize delivery value.
• Apply strict data access controls, classification rules, and data protection mechanisms to support secure data separation across environments.
• Act as the focal point for centralized cyber and compliance processes covering data services, ensuring compliance alongside operational availability.
• Optimize data services engagement in cyber and compliance workflows while maintaining smooth execution from prioritization to delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across digital and the business to translate priorities into actionable plans.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to convert complex business and compliance requirements into reliable, secure data engineering solutions.
• Improve data workflows for performance, observability, and resiliency across cloud and hybrid platforms.
• Build reusable patterns, automation, and governance-aligned data frameworks that speed up secure data enablement across the organization.
• Support production data systems with a focus on data integrity, lineage, and access auditability.

What you bring

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• U.S. Citizen status.
• Experience with data services pipelines for both structured and unstructured sources, including enterprise content repositories and file systems.
• Proven ability to segment, classify, and secure datasets based on business, legal, or compliance needs.
• Experience optimizing complex organizational processes, including use of process tools such as Jira, Confluence, Planview, and ServiceNow to track and monitor work flow.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and their native data services.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, distributed systems, data modeling, and secure data architecture principles.
• Ability to collaborate in Agile teams across technical and business functions.

What you will learn

Compensation: USD 107,500 - 204,500 per yearly. Location: Charlotte, NC, United States (hybrid).
