Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a senior data services professional to lead intake, governance, and secure data engineering across hybrid environments. You will coordinate with finance, engineering, and operations to maximize value delivery while maintaining strict data access controls.

The role requires expertise in cloud data services, ETL/ELT, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant data solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Experience in data service pipelines that handle both structured and unstructured data sources.
• Demonstrated ability to segment, classify, or secure data sets based on requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise supporting and optimizing complex processes using Jira, Confluence, Planview, ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Manage work intake processes for a large data services organization across multiple functional areas.
• Support strict data access controls, classification rules, and data protection mechanisms.
• Serve as the focal point for centralized cyber and compliance processes for data services.
• Optimize data services engagement while ensuring compliance and operational availability.
• Translate prioritization into execution with stakeholders across digital and business units.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex requirements into secure data engineering solutions.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, observability, and resiliency across cloud and hybrid platforms.
• Develop reusable patterns and governance-aligned data frameworks.
