The role requires deep experience with data pipelines, cloud data services, and strong knowledge of data security and governance.
Qualifications
- Requires university degree and extensive relevant experience (8+ years) or advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
- U.S. Citizenship required to access program/contract data.
- Experience with data pipelines handling structured and unstructured data.
- Ability to classify/secure data per business, legal, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient with standard process tools (Jira, Confluence, Planview, ServiceNow).
- Experience with cloud data services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, distributed systems, data modeling, and secure data architecture.
Responsibilities
- Own work intake across multiple functional areas to maximize value delivery.
- Support data access controls, classification rules, and data protection mechanisms.
- Serve as focal point for centralized cyber and compliance processes for data services.
- Optimize data services engagement while ensuring compliance and availability.
- Translate prioritization into execution with stakeholders across digital and business.
- Collaborate to convert complex requirements into reliable, secure data engineering solutions.
- Improve data workflows for performance, observability, and resiliency across cloud/hybrid platforms.
- Develop reusable patterns and governance-aligned data frameworks.
