Job summary

Kaleida Health is seeking a senior security architect to design and oversee enterprise cybersecurity architectures across the organization. You will collaborate with the Architecture team and IT/business partners to identify gaps, assess risks, and provide implementation guidance and documentation. Strong communication to leadership is required.

The role requires 10+ years in advanced IT security, with a BA/BS in IT or related field, and onsite work at Kaleida Health's Buffalo campus.

Job Description

Responsible for security solution design and serve as the touch point for Security with the company’s overall Architecture team. Operate as a subject matter expert in Cybersecurity with a focus on enterprise architecture design, engineering, and implementation. Responsible to build and iterate on enterprise architectures and supporting technical documentation to provide Cybersecurity implementation guidance across departments. In addition, review existing and planned information systems and networks for vulnerabilities and provide recommendations to prevent, mitigate, or remediate potential security risks. Track security implementation efforts across business lines to support Kaleida Health and promote a united enterprise of information systems and networks. Communicate complex technical requirements to senior leadership in the form of presentations and technical whitepapers. Support the organization by identifying gaps in both current and planned enterprise architectures. Coordinate meetings with security vendors to assist with integrating their products into the enterprise, where appropriate. This is a multi-dimensional role, collaborating closely with teams inside the IT department and business partners across the organization. These partnerships ultimately result in an enhanced defense posture and proactive development of secure, robust solutions across the organization.
