Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant in Warrendale to lead standard costing, BOMs and product cost structures. You will analyze variances, support budgeting, and drive cost-reduction initiatives while partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and Finance leadership.

The role requires 5+ years of cost accounting in manufacturing, SAP GUI experience (S/4HANA preferred), and strong Excel skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 5+ years cost accounting experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
• Experience using SAP GUI (not Fiori) in a manufacturing environment. (S/4HANA preferred)
• Working knowledge of standard costing, financial inventory controls and GAAP are required.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (Functions, Pivot Tables, Complex Formulas, etc)
• Must be able to communicate, both written and verbal with all levels of plant management.

• Maintain and analyze standard costs, BOMs, routings, and product cost structures. Perform annual and periodic standard cost updates.
• Support new product costing, profitability analysis, and pricing decisions. Ensure accurate product cost valuation within SAP S/4HANA systems.
• Analyze labor, material, overhead, scrap, yield, and production variances. Investigate root causes of manufacturing inefficiencies and provide recommendations for corrective action.

• Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Assist with budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning.
• Identify and quantify cost savings opportunities. Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams on CI projects.
• Develop and maintain cost reporting and financial dashboards; support SAP costing and other financial systems enhancements.

Job SummarySalary Range: $95,000 to $105,000 dependent upon education and experience. A 6% Annual Target Bonus is also included with this position.The Senior Cost Accountant is responsible for analyzing and maintaining product costs, inventory valuation, manufacturing performance metrics, and operational financial reporting. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance leadership to provide actionable insights that improve profitability, support cost reduction initiatives, and ensure the integrity of cost accounting processes. Develop financial models to support operational and strategic initiatives.Cost Reduction & Business PartnershipIdentify and quantify cost savings opportunities. Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams on continuous improvement projects. Support productivity initiatives, sourcing decisions, and capital investments with financial analysis. Track and report realized savings from cost reduction programs.Reporting & SystemsDevelop and maintain cost reporting and financial dashboards. Support SAP costing and other financial systems enhancements. Improve reporting automation and data accuracy.
