Position Overview

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cost Accountant to join the Legrand Lightning Manufacturing Co Team in Kenosha, WI (Hybrid). The role supports manufacturing & supply chain operations, acting as the primary liaison between Finance & Manufacturing. Responsibilities include daily financial and operational support, monthly accounting close, productivity reviews, financial analysis, budgets, standard costing, internal controls, and strategic partnership with management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partner with management to monitor and control operational costs and inventory levels.
2. Manage budget attainment in collaboration with operations management.
3. Provide relevant data and insights to support strategic decision-making.
4. Support monthly close processes including inventory valuation, reserve analysis, variance analysis, and productivity reporting.
5. Prepare reports and summaries for financial reporting.
6. Participate in the monthly S&OP process and prepare data for quarterly reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field with relevant experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Analytical skills to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and database software.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Business acumen across various functional areas.
• Flexible, team-oriented, and positive attitude.
