Us Display Group in Dover, DE is seeking an experienced operator for converting equipment in the corrugated industry. You will set up, operate, clean, and improve converting machines, with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of converting equipment experience, the ability to read a tape measure and engineering specs, and strong math and reasoning skills. Daily tasks include maintenance, scheduling, and collaboration with the team.

Working to the highest safety and quality requirements, meeting or exceeding daily production requirements in the converting department. Achieve internal and external customers’ expectations by optimizing processes, developing areas for improvement, and maintaining operational excellence through the entire production life cycle with little to no supervision. Assist in the determination of time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements. Manage projects and ensure delivery of projects on time. Responsible for all activities associated with running the converting machines including setup, operation, cleanup, and process improvements.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED paired with 5+years of extensive converting equipment experience in the corrugated industry.
Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters and interpretation of engineering specifications.
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as fractions, decimals, measurements, volume, and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with complex problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations. Accepts responsibility for self and actions of their team. Is assertive, optimistic, resilient, and adaptable.
