Job summary

Cherokee Nation Entertainment is seeking a senior graphic design and multimedia specialist to develop and produce advanced visual content across brands and platforms. You will lead creative campaigns, mentor content teams, and ensure strong brand alignment through all materials.

You will manage complex projects from concept through production, collaborating with marketing leadership to drive effective storytelling and audience engagement. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Visual Arts, or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in graphic design, multimedia content creation, photography, video production, marketing communications, or related creative work.
  • Experience leading complex creative projects, multimedia campaigns, or brand-focused initiatives preferred.
  • Experience in photography, video production, motion graphics, digital content development, and multimedia storytelling preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and related creative applications.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor, guide, and provide creative consultation to content creators.
  • Lead as a creative contributor for enterprise campaigns and property-level projects.
  • Design and produce advanced assets across print, digital, social, web, video, and multimedia platforms.
  • Direct multimedia content development including photography, video production, editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to align concepts and strategies with business goals.
  • Provide mentorship to project teams and content creators.
  • Lead complex projects from concept to final production and deployment.
  • Maintain visual brand standards and creative consistency across channels.
  • Evaluate creative effectiveness and suggest improvements for audience engagement.
  • Research trends and technologies to drive innovation.
  • Assist with planning and execution of content capture and promotional shoots.
  • Travel and varied shifts may be required to support events and campaigns.

Develops and produces advanced visual, multimedia, and digital content that supports branding, marketing initiatives, guest engagement, and organizational communication across Cherokee Nation Entertainment properties. Serves as a lead creative contributor for complex campaigns and multimedia initiatives, providing creative consultation, storytelling, and content strategy support while maintaining strong brand alignment.

Responsibilities
  • No formal supervisory authority; provides mentorship, guidance, and creative consultation to content creators.
  • Serves as a lead creative contributor for enterprise campaigns, promotional initiatives, executive communications, and property‑level projects.
  • Designs and produces advanced creative assets across print, digital, social media, web, video, and multimedia platforms.
  • Leads multimedia content development including photography, video production, editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling initiatives.
  • Collaborates with marketing leadership and stakeholders to develop creative concepts and campaign strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Provides creative consultation, guidance, and mentorship to content creators and project teams.
  • Leads complex projects from concept development through final production and deployment.
  • Maintains and supports visual brand standards and creative consistency across channels and properties.
  • Evaluates creative effectiveness and recommends opportunities to enhance audience engagement and content performance.
  • Researches emerging trends, technologies, and creative techniques to support innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Assists with planning and execution of content capture, promotional shoots, events, and multimedia initiatives.
  • Work may be performed in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled office settings, casino properties, entertainment venues, promotional events, and other on-property locations.
  • Work requires lifting objects up to 25 pounds, including cameras, lighting equipment, production equipment, displays, and other marketing materials.
  • Work may require travel, including overnight stays.
  • Work will require varied shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed to support events, productions, content capture activities, campaign launches, and business needs.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Visual Arts, or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in graphic design, multimedia content creation, photography, video production, marketing communications, or related creative work required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience leading complex creative projects, multimedia campaigns, or brand-focused initiatives preferred.
  • Experience in photography, video production, motion graphics, digital content development, and multimedia storytelling preferred.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing projects from concept through final production preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of graphic design principles, visual communication, brand development, and content strategy.
  • Thorough knowledge of multimedia content creation, photography, videography, editing, and digital production techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and related creative applications.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics, visual storytelling, and emerging digital content trends.
  • Ability to develop creative concepts and translate business objectives into effective visual communications.
  • Ability to lead creative projects from concept development through final production and deployment.
  • Ability to provide creative consultation, mentorship, and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to evaluate creative effectiveness and recommend opportunities to improve audience engagement and content performance.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and complex creative initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, operational stakeholders, agencies, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other applicable creative software.
