Sunrise Biztech Systems Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Sr.

Consultant - FP&A Reporting & Data Transformation to join our remote team on a 1-year contract. You will lead FP&A reporting efforts and transform financial data to actionable insights, leveraging Power BI and Excel/Power Query across global finance processes. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in FP&A, strong accounting knowledge, hands-on data validation, and experience with SAP data reconciliation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FP&A, finance, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting concepts.
• Hands-on experience with reconciliations and data validation.
• Experience with month-end close processes and reporting timelines.
• Knowledge of SAP financial data and reconciliation to SAP sources.
• Familiarity with finance master data (GL, cost centers, profit centers, entities).
• Experience supporting financial reporting solutions (Power BI, Excel/Power Query).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data discrepancies.
• Ability to perform during critical month-end close and reporting cycles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Position: Sr. Consultant - FP&A Reporting & Data Transformation

Experience: 7+ Years

Contract tenure: 1 year

Must-Have Skills

• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance, Accounting, financial reporting, analytics, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting concepts.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with financial reconciliations and data validation.
• Good understanding of month-end financial close processes and associated reporting timelines.
• Working knowledge of SAP financial data and the ability to reconcile reporting results back to SAP/source financial systems.
• Good understanding of finance master data, including GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers, legal entities, hierarchies, and financial mappings.
• Experience supporting financial reporting solutions, preferably Power BI and Excel/Power Query.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate financial data discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Ability to work effectively during critical month-end close and reporting cycles.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake and financial data/reporting migrations to modern data platforms.
• Experience querying data using SQL for analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience with Power BI development and financial reporting.
• Exposure to Anaplan, HANA, HFM, Management Reporting, or similar finance and reporting platforms.
• Experience with financial data transformation, master-data mappings, and reporting-system integrations.
• Experience improving or automating financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
