Job summary

Steneral Consulting seeks an experienced SAP FP&A Technical Consultant with a focus on SAP S/4HANA Finance/Controlling and GCP integration. This remote position emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, and advanced FP&A analytics.

You will collaborate with FP&A and Finance stakeholders to design and implement SAP-based financial reporting pipelines and dashboards, leveraging CDS views, Universal Journal, and BigQuery. Urgent W2 engagement for a remote-enabled expert.

Qualifications

• 7+ years SAP experience with a focus on Finance, Controlling, and analytics.
• Hands-on FP&A experience (budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis).
• Strong understanding of management reporting, variance analysis, and profitability.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance/Controlling and SAP data integrations.
• Proficiency with GCP, especially BigQuery, and data integration.
• Strong SQL and financial data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

REMOTE SAP FP&A Technical Consultant S/4HANA & GCP - REMOTE URGENT NEED W2

• Primary Focus: Technical consultant role with a strong emphasis on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) over traditional accounting functions.
• Core Responsibilities:
• Support and enhance FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain Profit & Loss (P&L) reporting (revenue, expenses, margins, profitability).
• Conduct financial modeling, scenario analysis, and long‑range planning.
• Analyze financial performance versus budgets/forecasts to identify trends and business drivers.
• Collaborate directly with FP&A and Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
• Build management reporting, financial dashboards, and performance analytics.
• Support cost center planning, profit center analysis, and profitability reporting.
• SAP S/4HANA & Financial Analytics:
• Leverage SAP S/4HANA Finance/Controlling for financial planning and performance management.
• Work with SAP CO, CO‑PA, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), and related data structures.
• Design and enhance SAP financial reporting solutions (P&L, forecasting, budgeting).
• Utilize SAP CDS Views, data models, and extraction processes for analytics.
• Collaborate with SAP functional, technical, and data engineering teams.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Responsibilities:
• Integrate SAP financial data into GCP environments, especially BigQuery.
• Develop financial data pipelines and cloud‑based reporting solutions.
• Ensure accurate data transformation, reconciliation, and integration between SAP and cloud platforms.
• Support scalable, cloud‑based financial analytics initiatives.
• Technical Requirements:
• 7+ years SAP experience with a focus on Finance, Controlling, and analytics.
• Demonstrated hands‑on FP&A experience (budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis).
• Strong understanding of management reporting, variance analysis, and profitability.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance/Controlling and SAP data integrations.
• Proficiency with GCP, ideally BigQuery, and data integration.
• Strong SQL and financial data analysis skills.
• Ability to convert FP&A requirements into technical SAP and cloud solutions.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BPC, or enterprise planning tools.
• Experience with SAP CO‑PA, profitability reporting, and cost center planning.
• Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with GCP BigQuery.
• Familiarity with SAP BW/4HANA, CDS Views, Universal Journal (ACDOCA).
• Knowledge of financial dashboards, scenario analysis, Python, and cloud data transformation.
• Background in healthcare, insurance, or large enterprises is a plus.
• What is NOT wanted:
• Candidates with experience limited to traditional accounting (AP, AR, GL, month‑end close, reconciliations, or configuration) without substantial FP&A exposure.
