Sr. Construction Inspector-Roadway/Pavement

Job Details

Location: Anchorage, AK

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year (based on experience)

Employment Type: Full-time, Mid-Senior level

Responsibilities
  • Inspect airfield runway construction and pavement resurfacing to ensure quality and compliance with contract specifications
  • Perform and document three-phase inspections
  • Provide detailed daily QA reports
  • Review contractor progress and submittals
  • Ensure safety standards are met (EM 385-1-1, OSHA)
  • Assist with RFIs, change orders, and final inspections
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or an Associate/Bachelor's degree with fewer years of experience
  • Paving Inspector Certification within 30 days of start
  • Experience with RMS 3.0, safety regulations, and federal projects preferred
  • Excellent communication and professional presentation skills
Additional Information

Must be a US citizen and pass a federal background check and drug screen. QARs may work in remote, extreme environmental conditions.
