Job description

Ardurra is seeking a Water/Wastewater Inspector to join our staff in Riverside County, CA.

This position is open to both part-time and full-time opportunities.

Primary Duties

1. Interpret and apply technical specifications, contract requirements, engineering drawings, and standard construction details.
2. Ensure work completion aligns with drawings and specifications, maintain daily field reports, track contractor's quantities, witness tests, document results, and serve as liaison among engineers, contractors, and local residents and businesses.
3. Work on projects involving water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, lift stations, treatment facilities, and rehabilitation projects using various construction methods.
4. Possess knowledge of construction methods for water, sewer, storm drain, and utility pipe installations, including open trenching and trenchless techniques like jack and bore and directional drilling.
5. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills; familiarity with smart devices and computers is preferred.
6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously as qualified candidates.

Education and Experience Requirements

• 3-15 years of experience in construction or construction management/field services.
• Background in utilities construction/inspections, especially mechanical and piping; municipal utility inspection experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent; civil engineering coursework or certifications, or an associate degree, are preferred.
