Job summary

North American Risk Services Inc. seeks an experienced claims adjuster with a focus on Construction Defect and heavy litigation. You will manage a high-volume, complex caseload, determine coverage, gather facts, negotiate settlements, and coordinate medical care and litigation strategy.

Qualifications include 7+ years in claim adjusting, 7+ years in heavy litigation, and licensing eligibility. Remote work with national scope is supported, and compensation aligns with market levels for senior

• 7+ years of heavy litigation experience.
• Eligible for reserve/payment authority level of $50,000+ and Florida license or other jurisdictional licensing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current claim metrics and establish facts of loss, coverage analysis, and investigation.
• Coordinate medical care, litigation management, damages assessment, and settlement negotiations.
• Ensure file handling complies with state statutes, client guidelines, and company best practices; travel as needed.

What You Will Do:

Job Description:

Claim metrics must be kept current. Handle a case load commensurate with the complexity level of claims assigned. Requires establishing facts of loss, coverage analysis, investigation, compensability/liability/negligence determination, coordination of medical care (as appropriate), litigation management, damage assessment, settlement negotiations, identifying potential fraud and appropriate use of authorized vendors. Also includes timely and appropriate reserve analysis and report completion. Ability to attend conferences, client meetings, mentor other adjusters and assist management as requested. All file handling must be within state statutes, Client Claims Handling Guidelines and company Best Practices. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned, which may include travel.

• Must have 7+ years heavy litigation experience.

• Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Florida Adjuster’s license or other required jurisdictional licensing.
