Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation seeks a Compensation Advisor to guide complex pay issues and market trends across business lines. You will partner with HRBPs to align compensation with market data and organizational philosophy, driving insights and strategic recommendations.

You will translate data into actionable recommendations, develop dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders to support pay parity and budget alignment in a fast-paced, flexible environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
• Expert Microsoft Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, logic formulas).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams for collaborative work with stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency with market pricing tools (e.g., MarketPay/Payfactors).
• Proficiency in building dynamic data visualizations and dashboards highlighting pay parity and market gaps.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a primary advisor for assigned lines of business on complex pay issues and market trends.

Job Summary

Acts as a primary advisor for assigned lines of business, providing expert guidance on complex pay issues and market trends. This role balances business-specific talent needs with organizational pay philosophy through advanced consultative partnership.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Finance, Business, or a related field and 5 years of relevant compensation experience.
• Excel: Expert Microsoft Excel proficiency (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, logic formulas, nested formulas).
• Microsoft Office & Collaboration: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams, utilizing collaborative features to co-author documents and facilitate consultative meetings with stakeholders.
• Market Pricing Tools: Advanced proficiency in with market pricing tools (e.g., MarketPay/Payfactors).
• Data Visualization: Proficiency in building dynamic data visualizations and dashboards that highlight pay parity, market gaps, and cost-of-impact scenarios.
• Effective Communication: Ability to translate complex compensation concepts and market data into actionable insights for HRBPs and other stakeholders.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Pursuing or completed obtaining CCP Experience in complex or highly regulated environments
• Experience utilizing Workday for Compensation administration

This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Flex employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week. Management will have discretion to modify an employee's weekly schedule for exigent circumstances.

Base Pay Range $76,600.00 - $138,500.00 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
