The person will be responsible for the early involvement of procurement and suppliers in the product development/manufacturing process as well as monitoring current products to minimize the overall costs. Procurement Engineer will be one of the main interfaces to engineering from our procurement to ensure the latest technical innovations from the supply base is presented to our engineering team. Additionally, the Procurement Engineer will be at the forefront of working in R&D and interfacing with Commodity Managers on should-cost models and innovate ways to reduce cost during the design phase. Procurement Engineer will also be the main technical interface to our suppliers, ensuring compliance to our cost goals and technical innovations to ensure Siemens is at the bleeding edge of new technologies being invented in the supply chain.

The pay range for this position is $91,463 - $156,794. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
