Job summary

Siemens in Peachtree Corners, GA is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to manage procurement for finished goods with vendors and plants across North America. The role emphasizes delivery reliability, inventory control, and clear communication with multiple internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business Admin, SCM, or Engineering.
• 1+ years of experience in SCM or customer support.
• Broad understanding of procurement and operations across multiple businesses.
• Strong Excel skills and experience building reports via ERP tools.
• Excellent planning, organizational and communication abilities.
• US work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.

• Coordinate quality returns and posting of credits.
• Communicate with product management, customer support, procurement, R&D and finance.
• Maintain supplier performance and drive vendor development.

This role has the purchasing responsibilities for finished goods products from Siemens plants and / or vendors. This critical role supports our customer, customer support organization and product management organization in North America.

This position will work closely with the plants / vendor to ensure timely delivery of product to our customers. For key metrics this will be focus on delivery reliability, asset management, and effective communication.

You will make an impact with the following responsibilities:

• Create orders to fulfill the consignment program with one of the vendors.
• Provide detailed information on expected availability of materials.
• Coordinate shipments for our PDS products to final customers.
• Coordinate returns for warranty with vendors.
• Coordinate the receipt of orders at the PDS warehouse and drop shipments.
• Inventory management for the PDS warehouse.
• Establish top priorities with vendors.
• Coordinate quality returns to the vendors and procuring the correct posting of credits.
• Develop effective communication with product management, customer support, procurement, R&D and finance and suppliers.
• Maintain supplier performance and drive vendor development related activities

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
• 1 plus years of experience of working in Supply Chain Management or customer support.
• Knowledge of Procurement / Supply Chain activities with a broad solid understanding of operational activities across a range of businesses.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Excel; ERP systems and building reports.
• Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Tableau
• Sie Sales (sales force) knowledge
• Manufacturing experience

The pay range for this position is $54,835 - $94,003. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
