Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial HVAC equipment such as chillers, pumps, cooling towers, split systems, package units, and boilers
• Training and mentoring other technicians
• Knowledge of air- and water-cooled HVAC equipment
• Servicing VFDs, motor starters, pumps, and motors
• Troubleshooting hydronic and boiler systems
• Knowledge of York, Trane, and Carrier microprocessors
• Proper use and maintenance of company property, vehicles, and tools
• Representing the company professionally and ethically
• Maintaining vehicle stock and warranty parts management
• Performing other duties as assigned
• Regular attendance

Health & Safety Roles and Responsibilities

• Reporting unsafe acts, conditions, hazards, and injuries
• Using and maintaining PPE
• Following safety procedures and participating in safety initiatives
• Ensuring safety guards and devices are in place
• Complying with legislative requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, with additional training and at least 10 years of HVAC experience
• Valid licensing or certification as required by law
• Skills in refrigerant systems, HVAC startup and commissioning, instrumentation, and maintenance
• Knowledge of electrical systems and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts
• Physical ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift up to 75 pounds, and work in various environmental conditions
