The Sr. Commercial Contracts Manager will oversee the project's commercial and contractual aspects through expertise in risk management, project cost control, contract and subcontractor management, and financial management throughout the project lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage directly with customers to ensure Honeywell's interests are protected in transactions with customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Establish the contractual and commercial framework for projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with Operations Teams to mitigate negative financial impacts promptly.
  • Proactively develop commercial solutions for identified threats of negative deviation.
  • Conduct contract reviews.
  • Advise project teams on best commercial practices related to scope changes and variation orders.
  • Implement standard Commercial Management methodologies in project delivery and control.
  • Manage claims effectively.
  • Maintain appropriate records for potential or pending claims and dispute resolution.
  • Alert Operational Management / General Manager to any commercial risk threats and recommend approaches.
  • Support in assessing or validating Honeywell's entitlement and damages to facilitate dispute resolution.
  • Substantiate Honeywell's position to reach reasonable dispute resolutions, even with restrictive contract language.
  • Investigate and analyze causes and effects of events, and prepare submissions.
  • Manage risks related to the commercial and contractual success of the project.
  • Work closely with the Legal Team.

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $155,000-$190,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the range is $176,000-$210,000. Salary offers consider factors like scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions.

This position is eligible for an incentive plan.
