Data, automation, and AI are quickly becoming the center of every business decision - and Alteryx is leading the transformation. You'll be working on the challenges that sit at the heart of modern business. No matter your role, the work you do will help organizations move faster, see more clearly, and tackle questions that used to feel impossible. If you're ready to meet the moment with innovation, curiosity, and excellence, there's a place for you here.We are on a mission to radically improve how our employees interact with IT and business services. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director, End User Services, you will be the technical owner and primary advocate for the collaboration and support platforms that drive our employees’ daily productivity—including our employee service/ticketing/virtual agent ecosystem, Slack, Jira, Confluence, and more. This is a senior technical, hands-on role that serves as a key pillar of our broader End User Services team. You will work in tight alignment with end-user support, system operations, and other IT and business functions to drive the ongoing administration, enablement, and strategic enhancement of these systems. We are seeking a forward-thinking, innovative technologist who cares deeply about the end-user journey. You will serve as the central point of intake for platform enhancement requests, developing roadmaps that anticipate requirements and ensure our tools exceed employee needs before a problem is ever brought forward. You will have ownership of the digital workplace experience, designing consumer-grade self-service experiences, deploying AI and automation, and eliminating friction across all platforms—while balancing this drive for employee satisfaction with the discipline to ensure our ecosystem remains governed, auditable, reportable, and accountable. **Key Duties and Expectations*** **Holistic Platform Administration & Ownership:** Serve as the primary technical administrator and subject matter expert for our core employee technology stack (Slack, ESM/Ticketing, Virtual Agents, Jira, Confluence, DocuSign, etc.).* **Proactive Enhancement & Intake Management:** Act as the central hub for platform enhancement requests. Analyze support trends, usage data, and business feedback to anticipate future needs, driving an ongoing roadmap that evolves these platforms to exceed employee expectations proactively.* **Employee-Centric Workflow & Enablement:** Build intuitive workflows, communication channels, and service requests. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive enablement, stripping away legacy complexities to design processes that prioritize speed, simplicity, and seamless collaboration.* **Next-Gen Self-Service & AI:** Think beyond the traditional IT ticket. Deploy and optimize virtual agents (e.g., within Slack), AI-driven knowledge bases, and smart automation to enable \"zero-touch\" resolutions and empower users to confidently solve their own problems.* **Integrations & Automation:** Build and maintain seamless integrations (via REST APIs, webhooks, native hubs, etc.) connecting our suite of tools (Slack, Jumpcloud, Workday, Jira, etc.) to automate user lifecycles, support tasks, and cross-platform workflows.* **Governance & Accountability:** Establish a well-organized system of record. Ensure that while the front-end user experience is effortless, the back-end data architecture provides strict audibility, clear accountability, and robust reporting for leadership and compliance teams.* **Asset Accountability (ITAM):** Configure hardware and software asset management capabilities to ensure accurate tracking, lifecycle management, and financial accountability without bogging down the business in red tape. **Experience & Education Requirements*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.* 5 or more years of hands-on experience administering enterprise collaboration, workflow, and ESM platforms (e.g., Slack Enterprise Grid, Jira/Confluence, DocuSign, Freshservice, ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc.) with a strong portfolio of projects focused on improving user experience.* Administration certifications in modern SaaS platforms (Slack, Atlassian, ESM platforms) are a strong plus. *Note: A conceptual understanding of traditional ITSM frameworks (like ITIL) is helpful for context, but we are looking for an agile, employee-first mindset over strict framework compliance.** Proven track record of implementing self-service portals, automated routing, and/or chatbots.* Experience managing platform integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON.* Experience designing reporting dashboards and ensuring system data meets audit and compliance standards.**Required Skills*** **UX & Innovation Mindset:** A passion for \"outside-the-box\" problem solving. You treat employees as customers and design technology solutions that they actually want to use.* **Data & Governance Discipline:** Ability to plan and build systems that are easily reportable, structurally sound, and compliant with audit requirements.* **Integration & Scripting:** Proficiency in interacting with REST/SOAP APIs and basic scripting capability (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell) to automate the mundane and connect disparate systems.* **Systems Simplification:** The ability to look at a tangled legacy process, extract the actual business requirement, and rebuild it in the simplest way possible.* **Communication:** Exceptional ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, gather feedback, and translate it into technical action.
