Job summary

Alcon in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our Engineering team. You will analyze tooling and processes, design and modify manufacturing steps, and lead projects with budgeting and contractor oversight.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant CNC experience, proficiency with MasterCam 2022 or later, and familiarity with Okuma controllers. English fluency and attention to detail are essential; in this on-site role, travel up to 5% may be required.

Alcon is looking to hire a Senior CNC Machinist/Programmer team member. This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. The Sr. Associate, General Engineering (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for analyzing technology trends, designing and modifying processes, and resolving engineering issues to enhance team performance and operational efficiency.

This role is on-site in our Lake Forest, CA location and a typical day would include:
