Sr. CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

WET is pushing the boundaries of manufacturing innovation. We are looking for an experienced Sr. CNC Machinist to produce and fabricate parts and components used for research and development in our world-class manufacturing facility.

In this role, you will interpret drawings from our development engineers and build parts for testing and evaluation. You will create parts from complete drawings, solid models, or crude sketches with verbal instructions from a design engineer. Use MasterCAM software to program quick-turn parts.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Make parts from complete drawings or crude sketches with verbal instructions from a design engineer
• Analyze a part and suggest changes to facilitate easier machining or production
• Work effectively with engineers, listening and advising them with suggestions
• Set up and operate manual and CNC mills and lathes
• Set up and operate CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders to shape parts to specifications
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances using measuring instruments like calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators
• Experience with other machine shop tools, welding, and soldering is a plus
• Work with a sense of urgency and a willingness to collaborate and support team success
