Revolution Technologies is hiring a Senior Cloud Test Analyst to support healthcare tech migrations to the CMS AWS Cloud. The role emphasizes cloud testing, automation, and Agile delivery, validating performance and reliability across AWS services.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, develop comprehensive test plans, and lead QA efforts in complex cloud environments for enterprise applications in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Experience testing cloud-hosted applications on AWS and cloud migrations.
• Strong QA expertise in functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Experience with Agile testing, CI/CD, and test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and automated scripts for AWS cloud migrations.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure reliability.
• Validate APIs, integrations, and backend data against requirements.
• Collaborate across developers, business analysts, and QA in Agile cycles.
• Utilize TestRail, Jira, and Confluence to manage tests and defects.
• Design and maintain automated tests using Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, SoapUI, Postman.
• Support CI/CD automation with Jenkins, GitHub, and AWS deployment tools.
• Conduct REST/SOAP API testing, SQL validation, and data verification.
• Assess application performance, security, and HIPAA/FedRAMP compliance in AWS.
• Work with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CodeBuild.

Join an innovative technology team supporting the migration of enterprise applications to the CMS AWS Cloud. This role is ideal for an experienced QA professional with strong cloud testing, automation, and Agile delivery experience who excels at validating application performance, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Skills and Experience Required

• Strong experience with AWS cloud application testing and cloud migration validation, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with test automation, Agile testing, and CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Postman.
• Experience with TestRail, Jira/Confluence, or ALM for test management, defect tracking, and Agile collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated scripts for applications migrating to AWS cloud environments.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and failover testing to ensure application stability and reliability.
• Validate cloud-hosted applications, APIs, and integrations to ensure functionality meets business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other technical teams throughout Agile development and testing cycles.
• Utilize TestRail, Jira, and Confluence to manage test execution, document results, track defects, and maintain testing documentation.
• Design and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, SoapUI, and Postman.
• Support automated testing within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, or AWS deployment tools.
• Perform REST/SOAP API testing, SQL validation, and backend data verification.
• Evaluate application performance, security, and compliance within AWS environments, including CMS and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Support testing across AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution activities with development teams.
• Contribute to test strategy improvements, quality metrics reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide testing leadership and coordination to support successful cloud migrations and production releases.

Required Qualifications

• Strong professional experience in software quality assurance, testing, and test automation within enterprise IT environments.
• Demonstrated experience testing cloud-hosted applications and AWS cloud migration initiatives.
• Experience with Agile testing methodologies and CI/CD processes.
• Hands-on experience with TestRail, Jira/Confluence, or ALM.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Selenium Grid, JUnit, TestNG, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, or Postman.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, performance, and system testing.
• Experience with REST/SOAP API testing, SQL, and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, IAM, S3, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and CodeBuild.
• Familiarity with security and compliance testing requirements, including HIPAA, FedRAMP, NIST 800, and Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience supporting Medicare applications or healthcare technology environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GitHub Actions, version control, and automated deployment workflows.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, cloud-based analytics pipelines, and continuous deployment processes.
• Familiarity with additional AWS services, including DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, and Artifact.
