Job summary

CLOUD ANALYTICS TECHNOLOGIES is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer in Boise, Idaho to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and related frameworks. The role includes API and performance testing with JMeter, plus manual testing when needed.

You will write SQL queries for data validation and collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve defects. Strong expertise in SDLC, Agile/SAFe methodologies, and Java for automation scripting is required,

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of prior, continual experience in Quality Assurance roles.
• Currently employed in a Quality Assurance role.
• Strong, expert-level proficiency in: JMeter (performance/load testing), API Testing, SQL (Oracle & MSSQL), Manual Testing.
• Familiarity with Java for automation scripting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Strong, approaching expert-level, proficiency in:

JMeter (performance/load testing)

API Testing

SQL (Oracle & MSSQL)

Manual Testing

Ability to determine when automation vs. manual testing is appropriate.

Solid understanding ofSDLC,Agile/SAFe methodologies, and testing best practices.

Familiarity withJavafor automation scripting.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with:

AppDynamics (application performance monitoring)

Docker container development and testing (containerization)

Awareness of infrastructure dependencies and ability to design tests that reflect real-world usage scenarios.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Enjoys identifying problems and stress-testing systems under realistic conditions.

Understands application dependencies on infrastructure and incorporates this into test design.

Creates tests that are easily deployable, maintainable, and executable by team members.

Comfortable working as an individual contributor with ≥80% of their time spent on test case development, execution, and defect documentation."
