Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking a senior QA/Test Automation lead to validate cloud-based distributed systems across virtualized and on-prem environments. You will architect and implement automation frameworks, drive testing strategies, and mentor a skilled team in an Agile setting.

The role requires deep networking knowledge and hands-on expertise with Python, Selenium, and CI/CD toolchains. Collaboration with DevOps and cloud platforms is essential for delivering robust quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field.
• 5+ years testing cloud apps, distributed and networking systems in virtualized/on-prem environments.
• Develop and architect Test Automation frameworks for cloud-based apps.
• Hands-on automation using Python; UI automation with Selenium; CI/CD with Git, Jenkins, and OSS frameworks.
• Ability to create test strategies, plans and cases and run comprehensive test cycles.
• Lead and mentor in Agile/Scrum; work independently to drive quality.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs and cloud networking.
• Experience with DevOps/test infra tools: Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, JIRA, Terraform, Ansible.

Job description

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in testing cloud applications, distributed systems, and networking systems in virtualized and on-prem environments.
• Extensive experience in developing and architecting Test Automation frameworks and infrastructure, specifically for cloud-based applications.
• Strong hands-on experience in automation using Python, UI automation with Selenium, and working in CI/CD environments with tools like Git, Jenkins, and third-party Open-Source Test Frameworks.
• Proven ability to break down complex cloud architectures, create detailed test strategies, test plans, and test cases, and execute comprehensive test cycles.
• Strong motivation to leadand mentor in an Agile/Scrum environment, with the ability to work independently and drive quality initiatives.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and cloud networking concepts.
• Experience with DevOps andtest infrastructure tools such as Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, JIRA, Terraform, and Ansible.

Preferred Experience:

• Proven experience leading QA efforts in highly technical teams employing Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Expertise in Test Automation, Performance & Scale Testing, Simulation Testing, and related frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization/virtualization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, ESXi, Xen.
• Strong knowledge of observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack for monitoring, logging, and reporting.
• Experience integrating AI/ML-driven testing and utilizing tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance automation.

Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Engineer, or CCNA are a plus.
