Base pay range

$214,755.84/yr - $310,202.88/yr

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Architect with experience in cloud infrastructure to engineer and support public, private, and hybrid clouds. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

Skills and attributes for success:

• The candidate should be knowledgeable about the latest developments and act as an advisor on cloud management strategies to maximize benefits such as workload flexibility, scalable workstations, and cost efficiency.
• The candidate will collaborate with the IT Security team to ensure cloud systems security for data and network resources.
• The candidate will be responsible for engineering applications and systems on customer premises interconnected with cloud resources.
• Design and define system architecture for new or existing complex systems.
• Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and hardware/software compatibility, ensuring system security.
• Coordinate subsystem design and system integration, analyze and resolve program support issues.
• Develop and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance to database administrators and software developers if needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud computing technologies and migration of applications to the cloud.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
• Knowledge to integrate services and tools across networks and data processing areas.
• Experience implementing security information and event management to protect assets.
• Experience meeting or exceeding cloud provider SLAs, specifically with AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, PHP, Java, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
• Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
