Base pay range

$214,755.84/yr - $310,202.88/yr

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Architect with experience in cloud infrastructure to engineer and support public, private, and hybrid clouds. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

Skills and attributes for success:

• Knowledge of recent updates and developments in cloud management strategies; able to advise clients on benefits of cloud computing such as unrestricted workload execution, scalable workstations, and pay-as-you-go models.
• Collaborate with IT Security to manage and maintain cloud system security for data and network resources.
• Engineer applications and systems on customer premises interconnected with cloud resources.
• Design and define system architecture for complex computer systems, new or existing.
• Determine system specifications, input/output processes, hardware/software compatibility, and security maintenance.
• Coordinate subsystem design and system integration, and analyze/support deficiencies.
• Develop and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance to database administrators and software developers if needed.

Qualifications:

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud technology and experience migrating applications to the cloud.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
• Skills to integrate services and tools across networks and data processing areas.
• Implement security information and event management to safeguard assets.
• Experience meeting or exceeding cloud provider SLAs; proficiency with AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, PHP, Java, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
